      MSI includes a mouse, headset, and extended mouse pad with its newly released white Crosshair gaming laptop.

      MSI has globally introduced the Crosshair A16 HX MLG Edition, giving one of its mid-range gaming laptops a white-and-red design along with a complete set of complementary accessories. Here, MLG denotes Mo-Loong-Gi, which translates to “Dragon Princess,” referring to an original character created by MSI, rather than Major League Gaming.

      What’s included in this special edition laptop?

      The top-tier configuration boasts a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU with 12GB of GDDR7 memory. MSI allows the CPU and GPU to utilize up to 190W when both are under load, with cooling managed by two fans, five heat pipes, and four exhaust vents.

      Its 16-inch QHD+ display features a resolution of 2560 x 1600, a refresh rate of 240Hz, and claims to offer 100% DCI-P3 coverage. MSI has not disclosed the available RAM and storage options, only stating that the laptop includes two DDR5 slots accommodating up to 96GB of memory, along with support for PCIe Gen4 and Gen5 storage. Connectivity options comprise HDMI 2.1, Wi-Fi 6E, and USB-C with DisplayPort output and Power Delivery.

      The special edition package also comes with a coordinated mouse, headset, and extended mouse pad. In select markets, MSI will provide a limited character figure and unique packaging while supplies last.

      What will the cost be?

      MSI states that the laptop is available worldwide, but it has yet to announce a US price or confirm which specific configuration will reach American retailers. This laptop appears to be associated with MSI’s newer Crosshair A16 HX E8W family, although the current US configurations divide its two hallmark specifications across different models.

      The E8WGK-009US pairs the Ryzen 9 8940HX with an RTX 5070 featuring 8GB of GDDR7 memory, whereas the E8WGXK-052US includes the 12GB RTX 5070 but is equipped with a Ryzen 7 8840HX. Neither configuration matches the combination of Ryzen 9 and 12GB RTX 5070 seen in the MLG Edition.

      An 8GB RTX 5070 Crosshair A16 HX was listed on Amazon for approximately $2,700 at the time of writing. The white finish, 12GB GPU, matching peripherals, and exclusive limited-edition extras are likely to raise the price of the MLG Edition.

MSI and TCL CSOT have introduced the world’s first 27-inch 4K 120Hz desktop monitor utilizing inkjet-printed OLED technology, bringing a manufacturing process previously limited to prototypes and specialized displays closer to mainstream consumers. Named the MSI Pro Max OLED 271UPJW12, the monitor features a TCL CSOT panel created by directly printing organic light-emitting material onto the display.
