Before Apple, Caviar is showcasing the luxurious foldable iPhone Ultra.
The soon-to-be-released iPhone Ultra is already receiving a 19-unit luxury edition from Caviar.
Apple has yet to unveil its first foldable iPhone, but Caviar is already marketing a premium version of it. The custom phone brand has introduced its “Flagship” collection for the anticipated iPhone Ultra, offering a luxurious design featuring gold, silver, leather, and carbon fiber months prior to the actual device's expected launch.
Caviar has produced numerous outrageously priced Apple accessories and custom phones in the past. Recently, the company incorporated a Tyrannosaurus fossil fragment into a $4,490 magnetic case for the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Its foldable iPhone Ultra collection operates within the same realm of extravagant pricing, with the luxury variants arriving ahead of Apple’s official model.
A luxury iPhone before the official launch
This collection comprises four different versions of the foldable iPhone Ultra. The Dark Cherry model showcases purple crocodile leather and decorative elements plated in 24K gold, inspired by the anticipated Dark Cherry hue on the iPhone 18 Pro. The Titan model presents a sleek black design, while the Silver version features a silver upper panel, crocodile leather, and a three-dimensional Apple logo crafted from sterling silver.
The most opulent option is the Gold model, which incorporates carbon fiber and a three-dimensional Apple logo made entirely of 18K gold, celebrating Apple's 50th anniversary.
Some technical specifications listed on Caviar’s site appear to be based on speculation rather than confirmed Apple details. The listing mentions a titanium body estimated to be around 4.5mm thick, an A20 Pro chip, 12GB of RAM, a 24MP under-display selfie camera, and two 48MP rear cameras. The camera information should be taken cautiously, as other rumors have suggested a punch-hole camera instead.
The costly iPhone becomes even pricier
The standard foldable iPhone Ultra is already anticipated to be Apple’s priciest iPhone to date. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo forecasts a price range of approximately $2,300 to $2,500, with initial supply potentially being very limited.
Caviar is elevating the price even further. The Flagship collection will be restricted to 19 units, and delivery is expected only after Apple releases the genuine iPhone Ultra. The preorder pricing starts at $13,840, while the premium Gold model with 1TB of storage costs $16,270.
