You can now completely remove Bing from your Windows 11 PC.

      After years of integrating Bing into nearly every aspect of Windows Search, Microsoft might finally be providing users with an escape option. The company is reportedly testing modifications in Windows 11 that would allow individuals to completely disable Bing-powered web results from the built-in Search feature.

      For many PC users, this change is long overdue. Windows Search has for years mixed local file searches with Bing suggestions, online results, news links, and Microsoft services, often frustrating those who simply aimed to find an application, document, or system setting on their computer.

      According to a report from PCMag, Microsoft is now introducing options that distinguish local Windows search capabilities from Bing's web integration.
