Red Magic's latest gaming smartphone features a large battery and liquid cooling system and is now available worldwide.
The Red Magic 11S Pro is optimized for extended gaming sessions
The newly launched Red Magic 11S Pro gaming smartphone in China is set to enter global markets, boasting an impressive battery, advanced cooling technology, and a front display free of any camera cutouts. Sales will officially commence on June 10 via Red Magic’s official website and selected retail outlets.
Cooling remains a key feature
As with earlier models, Red Magic has prioritized cooling the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip to prevent performance throttling. The device incorporates an enhanced AquaCore Cooling System, which combines a 24,000 RPM fan, liquid cooling, piezoelectric ceramic micropumps, and small liquid pathways alongside a sizeable vapor chamber.
This arrangement effectively dissipates heat from the processor and battery, ensuring that the phone maintains its performance during prolonged gaming activities. The liquid cooling setup is visible through the transparent back, providing the 11S Pro with an aesthetic akin to a compact gaming PC rather than just another flagship smartphone.
Additionally, it includes a RedCore R4 gaming chip that enhances visuals, audio, haptics, performance adjustments, and touch responsiveness.
A large display paired with a substantial battery
The Red Magic 11S Pro features a BOE X10 under-display screen with a resolution of 2688 x 1216, which eliminates notches and cutouts. It offers a refresh rate of 144Hz, a peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits, and a touch sampling rate of 3,000Hz. The device also includes 520Hz shoulder triggers for quicker in-game control.
Powered by a 7,500mAh battery, the smartphone supports up to 80W wireless charging and can reverse charge other devices through both wired and wireless methods. For photography, it offers a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 16MP front camera. The device operates on Red Magic OS 11.5, based on Android 16.
Pricing begins at $849 in North America and €799 in Europe for the Nightfreeze 12GB + 256GB variant. The Nightfreeze and Subzero models with 16GB + 512GB will retail for $949 in North America and €899 in Europe. Early Bird vouchers will be available from June 3 to June 9, with Early Bird access on June 9 followed by open sales starting June 10.
