Is it a legitimate controller?
Absolutely, which is what makes it an ideal companion for travel. Despite its small size, the ATOM+ boasts a complete control layout, featuring dual thumbsticks, triggers, a D-pad, and shoulder buttons. Although it resembles a minimalistic retro controller meant for 2D platformers, it’s designed to handle modern games without compromising your experience.

What I particularly like about this controller is that its thumbsticks employ TMR technology, or Tunnel Magneto-Resistance. In simple terms, this means it utilizes magnetic shifts rather than physical contact between components, resulting in greater sensitivity and precision.
Since there’s no physical contact, stick drift isn’t an issue here. This is a significant improvement over traditional thumbsticks and highly appreciated.
What other features does it offer?
The ATOM+ also comes with motion controls, vibration feedback, and a rechargeable battery with USB-C charging. You can link it to the CRKD Companion App for button remapping, firmware updates, and setting adjustments.
