ASUS NUC 16 Pro features impressive specifications in a compact design
The ASUS NUC 16 Pro mini PC, which was announced earlier this year, is finally available for purchase. One of the mid-tier versions of this compact system is now listed online. This model boasts Intel’s Panther Lake processor, representing a notable upgrade from previous NUC models.
Robust hardware in a small package
The mini PC was introduced at CES 2026, showcasing powerful specifications. The model currently available comes with an Intel Core Ultra 7 365H processor. It supports up to 128GB of DDR5 RAM across two SO-DIMM slots, a surprisingly high capacity for such a small system. Storage is expandable, featuring two M.2 SSD slots that allow for a total of up to 16TB.
One slot supports PCIe Gen 5 x4 SSDs, while the other is compatible with PCIe Gen 4 4x. This device also includes Intel Graphics Xe3 integrated graphics. Higher-end variants equipped with Intel Core Ultra X-series processors are paired with Intel Arc B390 integrated graphics. Despite its compact size, the ASUS NUC 16 Pro mini PC offers a variety of connectivity options.
Connectivity features of NUC 16 Pro
It comes with two Thunderbolt 4 ports, dual 2.5Gb Ethernet ports, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6, and multiple display outputs, making it ideal for productivity setups or space-conscious workstations. Mini PCs have surged in popularity recently, delivering desktop-level performance in a small chassis that can fit in almost any space. Currently, the ASUS NUC 16 Pro is priced at $999 on Newegg. Note that this is a barebone mini PC, so memory and storage must be purchased separately.
