Russian-Chinese Digital Bridge: the messenger "Lightning" enters the market

The Russian messenger "Molniya" is preparing for launch in early 2026 and will become a new platform for international digital interaction, primarily with China. The service will combine communication, content, finance, and business functions, targeting tourists, entrepreneurs, and representatives of creative industries.

The domestic messenger "Molniya," being developed with a focus on international cooperation and primarily on working with China, is set to launch in early 2026. Essentially, "Molniya" is envisioned as a unified digital space where tools for communication, social content publication, financial operations, business services, and opportunities for cross-border trade will be integrated. As emphasized by the company, the platform is being created with the growing flow of tourists between Russia and China in mind, as well as entrepreneurs, content creators, and companies operating in international markets.

The application is being developed by "Red Soft" and Passion. LLC "Molniya" was established this year to promote the eponymous ecosystem of social and business services, as well as to develop a new super app.

Mikhail Tolpyshkin, the CEO of LLC "Molniya," notes that the relations between Russia and China have reached a new level of technological cooperation, and against this backdrop, a modern digital infrastructure is required to unite users, services, and businesses in one space. According to him, the platform being created should become a convenient and secure tool, in demand by students, entrepreneurs, travelers, and anyone actively living in the international digital environment.

Currently, the Russian market features messengers such as VK Messenger, MAX, Yandex Messenger, TamTam, Aurus Messenger, Dialog, eXpress, myOpenChat, R7-Office Messenger, and others.
