BizzyNow launches an equity round on Mamacrowd.

The Italian startup BizzyNow has initiated an equity crowdfunding campaign on Mamacrowd to fund the next stage of its networking application, focused on quick, in-person meetups termed “Bizzy Moments.” The campaign aims to raise between €150k and €400k, based on a pre-money valuation of €3 million, with a minimum investment of €500. BizzyNow states that the funds will be allocated towards market validation, product enhancements, and the foundational operations necessary for scaling.

      The issue addressed by BizzyNow

Professional networking faces a timing challenge. The most valuable connections often occur during brief intervals: 40 minutes prior to a flight, breaks between conference sessions, an unexpected evening in a new city, or the downtime after a client meeting. However, the conventional tools professionals use to connect are designed for asynchronous, low-context communications (such as messages and posts), rather than for immediate, location-based interactions.

BizzyNow's concept is straightforward: when two relevant individuals are already in the same location and have time, “finding each other” should not involve lengthy threads, complicated scheduling, or cold outreach. The company markets its product as a means to transform idle time during business travel and events into structured, meaningful discussions. “BizzyNow is designed for instances when professionals are already in proximity, with time to meet, but lack an efficient way to quickly identify each other. We're providing a method for individuals to leverage that moment to highlight their strengths and convert unproductive travel time into measurable B2B results,” remarked CEO Tommaso Fe.

      How BizzyNow operates

BizzyNow is crafted to transform “I have 45 minutes” into a viable meeting opportunity. The application utilizes geolocation, an AI component, and LinkedIn integration to identify nearby professionals who may be relevant, then promotes brief, structured meetups lasting approximately 30 to 90 minutes. BizzyNow characterizes these as micro-meetings conducted in neutral, community-recommended venues, aimed at facilitating genuine conversations beyond mere chatting. Additionally, BizzyNow employs a trust-based scoring system intended to reflect the value generated from meetings, prioritizing quality and follow-up over the number of connections made.
