      A closer examination of the recent leak demonstrates how Samsung is enhancing performance and efficiency while maintaining the same feel for its upcoming flagship.

      What’s going on? Well-known leaker @UniverseIce has released the specifications for the rumored Galaxy S26 and how it stacks up against the existing Galaxy S25.

      From the side-by-side specification comparison, it appears that the Galaxy S26 may come with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display (compared to the 6.2 inches on the Galaxy S25).

      Nonetheless, the peak brightness and maximum supported refresh rate remain unchanged.

      Internally, the Galaxy S26 is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (3nm) chipset in the United States, while markets outside the U.S. will feature Samsung’s Exynos 2600.

      Why is this significant? It seems that Samsung is set to eliminate the 128GB storage option for the entry-level Galaxy S series model. The Galaxy S26 may start with 256GB of storage.

      However, the camera arrangement, which includes a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide sensor, and a 10MP telephoto sensor, is likely to stay the same.

      The front camera on the Galaxy S26 is also expected to mirror that of the Galaxy S25, featuring a 12MP selfie camera.

      On a positive note, the device may come with a larger 4,300 mAh battery, providing a few more hours of use between charges, while retaining similar charging speeds.

      Actually, the design could allow for a reduction of 0.3mm in thickness (from 7.2mm to 6.9mm).
