iRU has released a new compact nettop.

The Russian brand iRU continues to expand its line of computer hardware, unveiling an updated version of the compact nettop Tactio 525. The new model is notable for combining modest dimensions with serious performance, which is rarely seen in devices of this form factor.

At the heart of the new Tactio 525 is not a budget processor but an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX. This eight-core chip can boost to 4.9 GHz, a frequency usually found in powerful gaming laptops. Its performance is complemented by modern AMD Radeon 680M graphics and a generous amount of memory — 32 GB of DDR5. For data storage there is a fast 1 TB SSD. This configuration turns the tiny device into a tool capable of handling not only office tasks but also rendering, programming, and even gaming.

      Space-saving without compromising functionality

The device’s dimensions make it easy to place almost anywhere: behind a monitor, on a wall, or on a dedicated bracket using a standard VESA mount. At the same time, the manufacturer did not skimp on connectors. Users get six USB ports, a modern Type-C port, two video outputs (DisplayPort and HDMI), and a gigabit Ethernet port for wired internet connection.

An important feature is the ability to perform upgrades yourself without voiding the warranty. The standard warranty is one year, but if desired it can be extended up to five years.
