TNW Backstage is making a comeback this week with an exploration of the future of sound. Our special guest is Xander de Buisonjé — a Dutch musician, television presenter, and the founder of Breggz, a startup that is transforming personal audio.
Breggz emerged from De Buisonjé’s (pronounced “boo-son-i-yay”) passion for sound quality. After many years in the music industry, he became frustrated that artists would invest years into perfecting their sound, only for it to be heard through inferior devices. “I just want the world to hear what I hear,” he states.
His vision led to the creation of Breggz, which claims to have developed the world's first fully wireless, custom-fitted hearable. The Zohn-1 earbuds deliver professional sound quality tailored for your ears. One of their most notable admirers is Stevie Wonder, who possesses a custom pair and describes the audio quality as “amazing.”
De Buisonjé recounted this story during a presentation at TNW Conference 2024. In this episode of TNW Backstage, we revisit that discussion and explore how it relates to this year's event.
