      Strands is a newly launched daily puzzle by the New York Times. It offers a more challenging twist on the classic word search, requiring sharp observation skills to complete it. Similar to Wordle, Connections, and the Mini Crossword, some days Strands can be quite tricky. There's no embarrassment in seeking assistance occasionally.       How to play Strands

      Each Strands puzzle begins with the objective of locating the “theme words” that are concealed within the letter grid. You can manipulate the letters by dragging or tapping them to form words; double-tap the last letter to confirm your selection. Finding a correct word will highlight the letters in blue, making them unselectable afterwards.

      If you discover a word that’s not a theme word, it’s still beneficial! For every three non-theme words you identify that contain at least four letters, you will receive a hint — one of the theme word’s letters will be disclosed, which you then need to unscramble.

      Every letter in the grid is utilized to form the theme words with no overlaps; each letter is used only once.

      Each puzzle includes one “spangram,” a unique theme word (or words) that encompasses the theme of the puzzle and connects two opposite edges of the board. When you find the spangram, it will be highlighted in yellow.

      Your aim should be to solve the puzzle quickly while using as few hints as possible.
