      When Wednesday premiered in 2022, it quickly became one of Netflix's most popular shows. Now, after a three-year wait, fans are finally getting the second season. The trailer suggests that the beloved atmosphere from the first season is returning, along with Jenna Ortega's standout performance.

      Like many of Netflix's major series, season 2 of Wednesday will feature dual premiere dates, with the first half launching on Aug. 6 and the second half a month later on Sept. 3. These dates provide all the fans ample time to prepare their Halloween costumes for the upcoming year.

      Bill Hader to co-write a new HBO series centered on the Jonestown massacre

      The Jonestown incident has been notorious for nearly half a century.

      If you watched Barry until the end, you probably know that Bill Hader has a penchant for darker themes. He often discusses his interest in serial killers and murderers, and he’s now channeling that interest into a new project for HBO. Variety reports that Hader will co-write and possibly star in an HBO series about the infamous Jonestown massacre.

      Hader is collaborating with Daniel Zelman on the script, and while the show is still in the development stage, it could serve as Hader's next major endeavor with HBO, where he previously worked on Barry.
