
Netflix unveils teaser trailer and release date for season 4 of Love, Death + Robots.

Metal Mayhem is making a comeback to Netflix next month. The streaming service has revealed the teaser trailer and release date for the fourth season of Love, Death + Robots.
Titled Volume 4, Love, Death + Robots is the award-winning animated anthology series. Each volume features a collection of short films that relate to one or more of the central themes. The chaotic teaser for Volume 4 showcases ferocious dinosaurs, rock concerts, alien invasions, and some mischievous cats.
Tim Miller, known for directing Deadpool and Terminator: Dark Fate, is the creator of Love, Death + Robots. He serves as an executive producer alongside David Fincher, Jennifer Miller, and Joshua Donen. Jennifer Yuh Nelson returns as the supervising director. All three—Miller, Fincher, and Yuh Nelson—have directed episodes for the series.
“I aim to blend horror, sci-fi, and fantasy,” Miller shared with Tudum regarding season 4. “And we collaborate with some truly fantastic writers and artists.”
Volume 4 marks the end of a three-year pause since Volume 3 premiered on May 20, 2022. The first season debuted in 2019, followed by the second season in 2021.
Voice actors from previous seasons of Love, Death + Robots include Samira Wiley, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Topher Grace, Archie Madekwe, Nolan North, Elodie Yung, Emily O’Brien, Jennifer Hale, and Michael B. Jordan.
Love, Death + Robots has received widespread critical acclaim, winning 13 Emmys, which include Outstanding Short Form Animated Program, Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation, and Outstanding Sound Editing for a Comedy or Drama Series (Half-Hour) and Animation.
Season 4 of Love, Death + Robots will feature 10 original short films, each coming from a different group of artists. Volume 4 will be available for streaming on Netflix starting May 15.

The Russo Brothers directed The Electric State, based on a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. This film is adapted from Simon Stålenhag's sci-fi novel of the same name. The Russo Brothers have not directed a feature film since 2022's The Gray Man, an action thriller starring Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans. The Gray Man currently ranks as the seventh most popular movie on Netflix.
