How to utilize the Friend's Pass in Split Fiction
EA Originals
Similar to It Takes Two and A Way Out, Split Fiction is a cooperative game that requires players to team up with a partner. This time, however, the game features full cross-platform compatibility, allowing you to enjoy this adventure with a friend regardless of their gaming system. To make things even better, it reintroduces the Friend's Pass, which allows two players to play the game on their individual systems, with only one needing to buy it. If you want to utilize this great feature, here's how the Friend's Pass operates.
How to Use the Friend's Pass
Given that Split Fiction can’t be played solo, allowing two people to experience it with just one copy — even if they are on different systems — is quite logical. However, the process is a bit more involved than merely starting a split-screen game. Follow these steps to use the Friend's Pass:
Split Fiction | How to Invite a Friend for Free with the Friend's Pass
Step 1: One player must buy a copy of Split Fiction on any platform.
Step 2: The player who hasn’t purchased the game must download the Friend's Pass from their platform's store page.
Step 3: After installing, both players need to start the game.
Step 4: The player who owns Split Fiction can invite the friend using the Friend's Pass, enabling both to play the entire game together.
It’s important to note that the player using the Friend's Pass won’t be able to play Split Fiction without an invitation from another friend who owns the game. There is a free trial available, but it only covers the initial stages.
