NYT Strands for today: clues, spangram, and solutions for Tuesday, March 4.
Strands is a brand new daily puzzle from the New York Times. It offers a more challenging twist on the traditional word search, requiring sharp observation to complete it. Similar to Wordle, Connections, and the Mini Crossword, Strands can be tricky on some days. There's nothing wrong with seeking a little assistance occasionally. If you're having trouble and need the answers for today’s Strands puzzle, you can find the solution below.
How to play Strands:
Each Strands puzzle begins with the objective of locating the “theme words” concealed within the letter grid. You can manipulate letters by dragging or tapping to form words; double-tap the last letter to confirm your choice. When you identify a correct word, those letters will be highlighted in blue and become unselectable.
If you discover a word that is not a theme word, it can still be beneficial! For every three non-theme words you find that are four letters or longer, you’ll receive a hint — one of the letters from a theme word will be revealed, and you'll need to unscramble it.
Every letter in the grid contributes to the theme words, and none of them overlap. Each letter will be used only once.
Each puzzle features one “spangram,” a special theme word (or words) that encapsulate the puzzle’s theme and connects two opposite sides of the board. When you locate the spangram, it will be highlighted in yellow.
The aim is to finish the puzzle quickly without relying too heavily on hints.

Resident Evil 4 lock codes: how to solve the Village Chief’s Manor combination lock puzzles:
In Resident Evil 4, the existence of viruses and parasites that transform ordinary people into crazed zombies is not the only thing that sets it apart from our reality. This small house has two main obstacles that prevent you from progressing towards your goal of finding the president's daughter. While there’s a clue to the first puzzle, it can be somewhat cryptic and easy to overlook, while the second puzzle is even less clear regarding what you are supposed to do. How to solve the cabinet lock puzzle:
Upon entering the manor and dealing with a single enemy in the bathroom, the first puzzle to tackle is located on the ground floor. At the back of the house, down the hall with a Red Herb, there is a large cabinet. The lock has three symbols you need to align correctly to open it, which include representations of things like wheat, animals, babies, and birds. You won't be able to guess this puzzle, so you need to head to the second floor and examine a book on a table in the hallway. This document, titled "Illuminados 4:3," contains the solution. The crucial part is the middle paragraph with the highlighted text that states: "The old farmer, his finest crop./ The Slight swineherd, his stoutest pig./ The beggarly grandam, her own beloved babe."
