In the first two seasons of *The White Lotus*, Jennifer Coolidge's character, Tanya, was a key figure. Coolidge received two Emmys for her performance, but her absence is notable in the upcoming third season. In a recent interview with *Forbes*, she shared her feelings of jealousy toward the cast, who filmed the new season in Thailand. "In the first episode [of season three], I thought — Oh, this is going to be really good!" she remarked. "It felt like everything [Mike White] set up — it’s really eerie — you’re not quite sure what people are up to yet. My prediction? Something is bound to go horribly wrong. I truly believe it’s going to go wrong,” she added. “Mike White wants us to have it all, I think. I can’t wait."

When asked about her potential return as her evil twin, she clarified that a comeback seems improbable. “I know! Look, it’s not that I haven’t wished for it or whatever, but it isn’t going to happen. It doesn’t matter — they don’t need me,” she stated. "Mike White can tell a story better than anyone."

Coolidge also mentioned Jon Gries’s return as Greg, her boyfriend in the first two seasons. Now known as Gary, Gries's character was portrayed as menacing by the end of season two, with Tanya suspecting he intended to kill her. “As you know, Jon Gries is back. I hope he gets it! I hope they do something terrible to him,” she remarked. Coolidge wishes the best for her former colleagues.
