Season 5 of The Boys will include a reunion of Supernatural cast members.

      Twenty years ago, this year, Eric Kripke, the showrunner of The Boys, premiered Supernatural on The WB. This paranormal thriller series enjoyed a run of 15 seasons across two networks, and Kripke has openly expressed his eagerness to reunite the stars of his previous series with his current one. Now, in anticipation of The Boys’ fifth and final season, Kripke has orchestrated a complete Supernatural reunion with the three main actors from that show.

      The announcement was made through a post on The Boys' Instagram account. In the video above, Jensen Ackles, who joined The Boys in season 3 as the first superhero, Soldier Boy, jokingly tells his former Supernatural co-stars Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins that they have some work ahead of them. However, the video does not reveal what roles Padalecki and Collins will take on in the series. In Supernatural, Padalecki and Jensen played siblings Sam and Dean Winchester, two brothers who hunted down paranormal killers and creatures like their father before them. Collins joined Supernatural in its fifth season as the angel Castiel, remaining with the series until its conclusion.

      Prime Video has confirmed that Jensen, Padalecki, and Collins will appear together on-screen in The Boys season 5. Two of their former co-stars, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Jim Beaver, have previously appeared in The Boys. However, Beaver's character was written out last season, and Morgan's character was seemingly killed off years ago, currently only appearing as a hallucination to the show's lead character, Billy Butcher (Karl Urban). The release date for The Boys season 5 has not yet been announced.

      The Rings Of Power has been renewed for a third season, and a time jump has been confirmed. More adventures are set to unfold in Middle-earth’s Second Age as Prime Video announced on Thursday the renewal of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power for a third season. This renewal was anticipated, given that Prime Video reported the series has attracted over 170 million viewers globally. Season 3 is currently in pre-production and will be filmed at Shepperton Studios in the UK this spring. Additionally, Prime Video revealed that three directors—Charlotte Brändström, Sanaa Hamri, and Stefan Schwartz—will contribute to season 3, with Brändström and Hamri having directed episodes in previous seasons of The Rings of Power.

      Amazon is in the process of developing a series titled Taylor Lautner: Werewolf Hunter. Twilight star Taylor Lautner has not appeared in many films or television shows in recent years, but he may be on the verge of a comeback with this new Amazon Prime Video original series, where he will portray himself as a werewolf hunter. Lautner is best known for his role as the werewolf Jacob Black in all the Twilight films. Variety reported on the development of Taylor Lautner: Werewolf Hunter, which also included a synopsis that playfully explains Lautner's absence from the spotlight for an extended period.
