Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be available for free to PS Plus subscribers in March.
PlayStation is offering another three free games in March, including the highly praised Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection. Considering that the last title is a collection of thirteen games, it’s almost like receiving 15 games for free. These titles will be accessible to all PlayStation Plus subscribers from March 4 to March 31. You can download all three directly from the PlayStation Store on your console, through the mobile app, or via the PlayStation website.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is a particularly exciting addition, despite its mixed reviews from gamers. It has only been available for four months, making it one of the quickest games to transition from launch to being offered on PlayStation Plus, especially from a major studio.
With an unintuitive combat system, intriguing companions, and a vast array of possible character builds, The Veilguard is an RPG that will engross players for hours.
Sonic Colors: Ultimate is a remastered version of the original Sonic Colors, featuring several necessary upgrades in visuals and audio. It includes some characters missing from the original and implements a few gameplay modifications that retain the essence of the original while catering to a contemporary audience.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection presents 13 classic TMNT games, including the highly acclaimed Turtles in Time, and offers online multiplayer for six of the collection's games. It also incorporates rewind features, save states, and additional enhancements. Given that many of the games in this collection were designed to be arcade quarter-munchers, these features will significantly enhance accessibility.
If you haven't claimed them yet, you still have time to grab the free games from February: Payday 3, High on Life, and Pac-Man World Re-Pac.

When it comes to finding the best PC games to run on your rig, PCs also excel as a platform for puzzle games. With a vast selection of AAA and indie titles all pushing the boundaries of what constitutes a puzzle game, narrowing down the best of the best is no easy task. Just as we compiled the best FPS games on PC, we've thoughtfully curated our final list of the top puzzle games available on PC, featuring both classic and modern titles, while keeping in mind that many more upcoming PC games may join this list in the future.
In other news, Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. has announced the closure of three of its video game studios: Monolith Productions, Player First Games, and Warner Bros. Games San Diego. Additionally, the upcoming Wonder Woman game has been canceled. A statement was issued regarding the decision, stating, “We have had to make some very difficult decisions to structure our development studios and investments around building the best games possible with our key franchises — Harry Potter, Mortal Kombat, DC, and Game of Thrones. After careful consideration, we are closing three of our development studios — Monolith Productions, Player First Games, and Warner Bros. Games San Diego. This represents a strategic shift and is not a reflection on the teams or their talent. The development of Monolith's Wonder Woman video game will not proceed."
The first of many Steam Next Fests scheduled for 2025 is underway, bringing an abundance of game demos to try out. This latest iteration of the PC storefront event, which features upcoming titles with playable demos, runs from February 24 until March 3. If you’re unsure where to begin, early highlights include the unique Skin Deep and the turn-based strategy title Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown. These selections barely touch the surface of what Next Fest offers, so to help you out, here are ten fantastic demos to check out.
If you’re craving more 3D platforming fun after last year’s Astro Bot, give Demon Tides a try. This colorful adventure set amidst islands and open waters is a responsive and fast-paced platformer with great potential. While the demo doesn’t provide an in-depth look at how Demon Tides will further its storyline and players only get a glimpse of the platforming mechanics, what is available is solid enough to instantly place this game on my wishlist after experiencing it.
