Annapurna Interactive conducted a digital showcase today, providing updates on its lineup of upcoming indie games. The presentation highlighted nine titles in total and announced spring release dates for To a T, Lushfoil Photography Sim, and Skin Deep.

Today's showcase brought clarity to Annapurna after a surprising restructuring in September, when the entire staff resigned. The presentation reassured that the games in development are progressing normally, with some set to release in the coming months. However, no new games were shown, and there was no information regarding the studio’s enigmatic Blade Runner game, which we haven't heard about since its announcement two years ago.

We did receive many updates on the 2025 lineup as well. In addition to the three new release dates, we saw fresh content for titles like Wheel World and Morsels. There was even an exciting announcement regarding a PS5 release of Sayonara Wild Hearts, which introduces a brand-new mode to the cult favorite. You can view the full stream below, accompanied by a complete list of announcements.

The showcase began with a new look at Wheel World, an upcoming open-world biking game from developer Messhof. The developer diary offered insights into the genesis of the project and showcased its freeform exploration mechanics. While no specific release date was provided, it is confirmed to be launching this summer for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Ivy Road's debut game, Wanderstop, will release on March 11. This cozy tea shop management simulator, created by a group of indie veterans including Davey Wreden of The Stanley Parable fame, received a new trailer to build anticipation. It also reminded viewers that a free Steam demo for the game is currently available. For those who can't play the demo, our hands-on impressions of Wanderstop are available to read.

Blendo's long-awaited Skin Deep is set to launch on April 30. After a significant absence, the presentation showcased the game, featuring a former bounty hunter turned pirate-slaying insurance commando. A developer described it as “Die Hard, but with more comedy,” which is exemplified in the trailer that highlights playful, chaotic antics, from deadly banana peel mishaps to heads being flushed down toilets. It has a feel of a mini-immersive sim with numerous ways to defeat pirates in space.

The developers at Geometric Interactive made two announcements, the first being a collaboration with Iam8bit to release a collector’s edition of Cocoon, their debut game, along with a vinyl soundtrack. They also confirmed they are working on a new game, though it wasn't shown during the showcase.

Lushfoil Photography Sim, a hyper-realistic photography simulation game, finally received its release date of April 15, just ahead of Skin Deep. The new trailer also revealed nine locations within the game, with a mysterious tenth location remaining under wraps for the time being.

Puzzle game Faraway got a brief mention, as solo developer Steph Thirion shared some insights into the project, inspired by Tetris, while displaying a bit of gameplay. Although a release date wasn't disclosed, it's currently slated for a 2025 release on PC. In the meantime, you can check out our hands-on preview of Faraway.

To a T, the highly anticipated game from Katamari Damacy creator Keita Takahashi, is set to release on May 28. The announcement was made alongside a new trailer featuring an original song about a giraffe who enjoys cooking sandwiches. We previously previewed To a T in December and found its quirky narrative adventure to be charming, centering on a kid perpetually stuck in a T-pose.

Morsels, an upcoming creature-collecting roguelite from Furcula, was also showcased briefly in the presentation. While new information was sparse, it detailed how the game operates and the developer’s fascination with concrete that led to its creation. The game revolves around a mouse that transforms into other creatures using cards to defeat cat bosses, with a planned release in 2025.

For the grand finale, Annapurna announced that the 2019 hit Sayonara Wild Hearts is now available on PS5. This new version supports 4K and 120 frames per second, and players with the PS4 version can upgrade for free. Additionally, it introduces a PS5-exclusive mode, appearing to be a high-score infinite run mode without loading times between levels. You can experience it for yourself today.
