Dreame aims to equip you with a smartphone, a smart ring, and a sports car powered by rockets.
Dreame Technology, renowned for its robot vacuums and other smart home devices, aims to expand into the realms of smartphone manufacturing, wearables, and automotive technology. At the recent DREAME NEXT event in San Francisco, the company introduced two smartphone models, three types of smart rings, and a rocket-powered sports car, venturing into unfamiliar categories.
Dreame’s inaugural smartphones feature modular hardware.
The Aurora series is comprised of the Aurora NEX and Aurora LUX models. Both operate on AURORA AIOS 1.0, an exclusive AI operating system that Dreame claims adapts to user behaviors, supports intuitive touch, voice, and visual commands, and facilitates multi-agent collaboration to help users accomplish intricate tasks from beginning to end.
The camera system offers a maximum resolution of 200MP across various focal lengths, supports 8K video recording at 60fps without cropping, and features 14-bit RAW multi-frame stacking. Its modular design allows users to attach accessories, such as an action camera, telephoto lens, satellite connectivity module for emergency situations, and an independent AI module.
Additionally, Dreame states that the smartphones are equipped with a 360-degree surround antenna system that detects how the device is held in real-time and transitions to an optimal antenna path within microseconds to guarantee uninterrupted connectivity.
Three rings for three purposes.
Dreame’s smart ring collection addresses three specific functions. The Health ring tracks heart rate, blood oxygen, body temperature, respiration, and sleep, utilizing ECG monitoring to alert users of potential arrhythmia and atrial fibrillation risks, with AI-based notifications derived from historical data.
The Vibration ring manages notifications and reminders through a haptic motor, akin to RingConn’s newly released Gen 3 ring, and can be used for alerts regarding notifications, medication, schedules, and inactivity. The NFC ring is designed for access control, supporting features such as locker unlocking and remote photography, alongside basic health monitoring and a water resistance rating of up to 50 meters.
Each of the three rings will come with a jewelry-box-style charging case, which Dreame claims can prolong the NFC ring's total battery life to 150 days; however, battery life specifics for the other two rings were not provided.
A rocket car that accelerates from 0-60 mph in under a second.
Dreame’s Nebula NEXT 01 JET Edition employs a dual solid-fuel booster system that activates within 150 milliseconds and provides a peak thrust of 100 kN. The company asserts it can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in a mere 0.9 seconds.
The car is also equipped with a proprietary 2,160-line automotive LiDAR system that detects road obstacles with much greater precision compared to standard LiDAR and supports autonomous driving up to level 3.
An overview of the additional offerings.
The DREAME NEXT event showcased a diverse array of smart home devices. Among the new appliances, Dreame introduced the Air Conditioner X60, which features a dual robotic arm structure to optimize airflow using eight drive motors, along with the Z Series, a fully flush-mount AC system designed for seamless integration into walls and ceilings. Both models incorporate AI-driven temperature and energy management.
Dreame also presented the Z1 Laundry Robot, which autonomously completes the entire laundry process—picking up clothes, conducting wash and dry cycles, and folding them afterward. On the personal device front, Dreame unveiled the MOONIX AI Glasses, weighing just 16.9 grams, designed to continuously record and create a personalized AI profile that actively assists users.
Additionally, an AI pendant intended for dietary tracking was introduced. It uses an integrated camera to monitor food intake piece by piece and offers nutritional estimates through a multimodal AI inference engine. Pricing and availability details for all products remain undisclosed.
