      According to a recent report from South Korea, Samsung is contemplating a price increase for certain configurations of the Galaxy S25 Edge, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 as of next month. The increase is specifically aimed at higher storage options, impacting the 512GB and 1TB versions.

      The anticipated increase is considerable, with estimates suggesting that the 512GB variants could rise by about 100,000 won (approximately $65), while 1TB models may increase by nearly 200,000 won (around $131).

      If this is accurate, it would mark a notable change in Samsung’s pricing approach. Usually, older models see a gradual decline in price a few months after they launch, but this strategy indicates the company may keep prices elevated throughout the product’s lifecycle.

      The report cites two primary reasons for the price hike: rising component costs and escalating logistics and fuel expenses due to increasing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
